​Dr. Eddie Brito and Dr. Vilma Brito have dedicated more than four decades to transforming lives and communities around the world. Married since 1980, their partnership in ministry has taken them to some of the most remote and challenging regions on the planet, where they have served as beacons of hope, faith, and love.

 

Eddie's journey began early, when he was ordained as a pastor at eighteen, under the mentorship of Pastor Lucas Huber. With a heart for the unreached, he founded his first church in Brazil's Amazon region, responding to the call to bring the Gospel to those in greatest need. This was the beginning of a lifelong commitment to serving the marginalized.

 

In 1992, Eddie and Vilma were called to Europe, where they served in Braga, Portugal, for four years. During this period, they built strong ministry foundations that would prepare them for even greater challenges. In 1995, they moved with their family to Edinburgh, Scotland, where Eddie continued his theological studies at the Faith Mission Bible College. This period of study equipped him with the knowledge and tools necessary to expand his ministry on a global scale.

 

In 2002, the Britos founded Healing Every Nation Ministries, Inc. (HENM), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Texas, USA, and London, UK. HENM became a channel through which Eddie and Vilma could reach even more people in need, especially in areas suffering from extreme poverty, conflict, and neglect.

 

Over the past three decades, Eddie and Vilma have brought hope and healing to thousands of people in more than 75 countries, providing support in health, education, and economic development. Their humanitarian work encompasses a wide range of efforts, from providing food and clean water to orphaned and starving children to supporting schooling in impoverished areas and providing shelter for children in need. In regions devastated by natural disasters, such as Haiti, Mozambique, and Malawi, they have been on the front lines of relief efforts, offering crucial aid to those affected.

 

The reach of their work is truly global, and its impact is immeasurable. Through their leadership, they provide training for Christian leaders, empowering future generations to continue the work of the Gospel. Their commitment to social justice and human rights is evident in every project they undertake, whether by providing essential resources to refugee camps or empowering communities through education and sustainable development.

 

Eddie's dedication to his calling is reflected in his achievements. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Theology and a Doctorate in Humanities from Integrity Seminary in Dallas, Texas. These qualifications, along with more than 35 years of practical experience, have made him a trusted leader and mentor to many.
